I also carried a long bench through the store, into my car and down the stairs to its new home.  My Fitbit actually did something I never saw before.  It vibrated and gave me a star for 30 active minutes.  I am now going to sit in my second Epsom salt bath of the day.

One of these days I'll have a real weekend again.

@Laura14:  I cannot wait to see all of your "newbies" in your new place.  So excited for you.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Well, we're supposed to be almost 80 degrees today.  Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the wonderful weather.  But it's the 40 degree drop in temperature between today and tomorrow that I won't be loving.

I actually relaxed this weekend which was nice.  I read some, did some laundry and watched some DVR shows.

Today is Quick Fit--pretty much my normal schedule this week.  I may be going out to a plant tomorrow--waiting to hear from the assistant plant manager.

My new playlist is ready to go--I'm still making mistakes with all the new stuff, but I still have 3 days to practice.

@Laura14 I don't envy you--when I was packing up my living room getting ready for my floor install, having to move all that stuff!  Most of it is still in boxes in the garage--I really need to either unpack it or get rid of it.

Hope you all have a good day!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Good Morning, well can't believe this, we have some sun.  What is that big yellow ball in the sky, it's been so long....

I did a Total gym CycloTrainer circuit workout today, love that workout, had some interruptions, a text and a  phone call I had to take as we have a family member in the hospital but I paused it and then went back to it.   Then when I finished the 50 minute workout I took Logan on the trail, wearing boots, it is so wet and so many lake like puddles.

Laura I bet your place is going to look great, what would you call your style.  I love Farmhouse style or Country cottage.

DrKelli 80 is pretty hot, we are happy it's 45!    Glad you had a relaxing weekend, we all need that.   Good luck with your playlist and you'll do fine, everyone will have fun.

Judy feet still holding up okay?

Foxxie,  how are you today.  I hope I didn't miss your post, I didn't see one.

MickD thinking about you too!

Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox on their World Series Victory, now I'll start counting down until Spring training, hahha

Waving to everyone, have a great start to your week, almost in October,,,Yikes!

@bopper  I am definitely Hollywood glam so it may not be to your taste.  My grandparents helped raise me so I am a throwback to my grandmother's era although the farmhouse style would be a close second.  I love the barn doors on everything.

Good morning all.  @Laura14, I’m sure your place is beautiful no matter the decor because you put it together yourself.  No compromising input by anyone else.

Tuesday.  That means I have Body & Sculpt, Flexibility and then about 30 minutes of Zumba.  Enjoy your day everyone.

[ Edited ]

Guess who set up next to me in Power?  Nudie!!  And she was nude from the waist up.  A black sports bra with a sheer white top.  Thankfully the lower half was covered.

But first we had Pound.

The instructor brings out these stretchy bands that we wrapped above our knees for the booty portion.  Like I needed to work out after this weekend which I am still feeling.

She also packed in 9 songs and we got "Monster Mash" which was redone as a heavy metal bang your head version (BOOOOOO!) and a Ghostbuster remake by Fall out Boy.  Ray Parker Jr, come back!  Stop ruining the good stuff!

But I got through it and did quite well.  Then came Power and Nudie.  Adonis's favorite song "I like to Party" was done for the chest routine I think.  I tried to keep a straight face because I'm sure he has his own dance routine to it with his mirror brigade.  A visual I did not need at 5:30am.

Ms. Rudeness was across the room in all pink neon this morning.  The class was packed again so it was tough to keep an eye on her even as colorful as she was.  Not sure where all these people have come from.

I am going to struggle through the rest of my day until my bed is ready for me tonight after a long hot bath.  I am hoping I can still walk to my car to drive home from work today.  It's been a long week with power lifting furniture and weights and up and down stairs and everything else.

Have a great Tuesday!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hey, an hour walk in the woods today hunting for Chaga, and I did find some.  Went home and got the saw and went back to get it.  My BIL makes the tincture, tea, and wine.  He came over and will make me a bottle of the tincture.

Laura I love Hollywood glamor too.  I guess I am kind of eclectic so to speak, I like many designs.

Making a cheese tortillini dish for dinner, not sure what I will do with it but I have chicken in the oven.

Oops phone ringing...  Have a good day!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Just so you all know--we had a high of 80 yesterday and the high is in the 40s today.  My feet are freezing and I have a thermal, sweater AND sweatshirt on at a plant.  Plus they got the space heater out for me.  It is so dark outside.  I'm hoping to leave here before it starts raining/snowing.  It is supposed to be a quick storm though, ending before rush hour tomorrow morning.  i just hope it isn't icy driving to work in the morning.

Still have 2 days of practice before the debut of the new playlist for Zumba.  I'm not making as many  mistakes--last night, I was practicing Proud Mary and I was missing something--I did it perfectly the night before and I have no idea what is missing.

Hope you all have a great day..

@DrKelli  Smiley Surprised  Is that normal?  That is quite a switch!  We are warmer here too but a front is moving in on Thursday I think.  Don't think it will be that drastic a switch though.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

@Laura14, so sorry to hear about the loss of your senior aunt on your thread about insurance.  Glad she made a seemingly peaceful transition.
