Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

@Iluvlucy  Okay I am laughing because I did the exact same thing when I got spooked.  And those freaking squirrels rustling and cracking twigs, DON'T DO THAT to me this close to Halloween!!  Smiley Very Happy

@bopper  Aw, enjoy the baby!  How cute!

@nomless  Last day of freedom before the bossman gets you again.  Enjoy it!

Okay, I am going to play some work hooky and speed on up to Target.  They have a bedding set on sale that I may snag while I decide on my sheets.

I have been arguing with my family on Facebook about the existence of velvet sheets all night.  Mind you my grandmother had a red velvet bed for years!  I am her granddaughter and I think everyone else is adopted.

I'm about set on the purple.  My BB&B actually carries the cream which I was also considering and with a 20% coupon it's about the same price so I may hold off on it.  I'm not sure I need four sets this far South.  Three is actually pushing it but I can't let the purple sit there.  It's my color and BB&B doesn't know it exists.

Have a great Friday!

Hi everyone, It's drizzling here today and we had wanted to get things done outside but that isn't happening.

Nomless I still havent' ordered the sheets, I keep thinking I don't need them, if I like them then what will I do with the fleece I already have and like.  I did buy my 89 year old father a set though in the mist green.  His house is old and drafty and it will be his BD/Christmas present.  Last year I got him a set of the fleece he really likes too.  So he can switch them out.   I want them but am not sure I should, usually thats the answer!

I almost forgot to post my workout.  I did 20 miles on the Xbike while watching the sheets!  Hahah......

3 days and counting until I leave for the wedding!   Can't believe how fast it came.  I have unpacked and packed a million times... Being my first time in a plane I have no idea what to bring and I have to try and fold my dress and then it's the jewelry, shoes, hair dryer, just too much stuff.

I have Hallmark Christmas movies on, love this time of year not especially seeing it all in the stores though, too early for that but I do enjoy the TV shows, cheery and uplifting.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

@bopper  First time on a plane?  Wow!  Security is the biggest hassle so just make sure you follow the rules, don't be afraid to check your bag, carry your jewelry and other essentials in your carry on and have a great time!  And if you can roll your dress, it's the best way to pack clothes.

I was a Fall cleaning fool yesterday.  My house needed it.  I spent most of Friday after work looking at new bedding until I shopped my own closet and found a duvet cover that I still love.  Switched out my velvet sheets, ordered my third set, and just got organized.  I feel so much better. I even took a nap.  Smiley Happy

Ready to get Halloween out of the way.  November is going to be a rotten month at work so I'm as prepared as I am going to get.

Have a great Sunday!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Hey all, I'm packing and unpacking and packing Hahaha....Laura yes 1st time, we're not travelers.   I have my dress rolled and most of my other clothes too.  Checking 1 bag only and then hubby and i each have a carry on.  I think we're good and ready.

I really dislike buying Halloween candy, first off it's expensive for what you get and we get so many kids.  We are in a subdivision so lots of homes and no traffic so people drop off their kids in here...it's really a hassle and Logan is all worked up and I have to use the baby gate so he doesn't get to the door and run outside.    I don't want any candy left in the house either.  Too tempting...

I'll try and just pop in here while I"m gone but not taking my laptop and my phone is ancient and the screen so tiny I get a major headache on it so will just say hi if I can even figure out how to do it.  I'm thinking I may not though so just so you all know.

Finally getting to finish raking.  This morning it was raining again but now stopped.  Hubby i watching the Lions though so after that is over we'll get more done.

Have a great day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Bopper, have a wonderful trip and lots of fun at the wedding. I'm excited for you! Good idea to get the sheets for your dad. I resisted the urge to get another set.

Hi, Laura, happy Sunday.

Getting ready for a work day tomorrow. ☺  A little nervous, but not bad. Mostly, I'm wondering how I'll manage my time to get in workouts and chores, too, but heck, I did it before, so I can do it again.  Back to being disciplined, rather than foot loose and fancy free.

Re: Welcome to the October Exercise Thread

Happy Halloween everyone, I'm busy packing and cleaning house to leave tomorrow.  I walked Logan on the trail this morning and will do a couple more walks with my boy before we have to take him to the kennel tomorrow morining .   That alone breaks my heart but I know he will be alright and before you know It I"ll be back home.

It's in the lower 40's here and windy, I think trick or treating will be chilly but we're used to that this time of year.

nomless good luck tomorrow, I am probably not going to be reading the forums while I'm gone seems there is so much scheduled to do but just know i will be sending good wishes to you .   Keep the thread going and hoping to see lots of posts when I come back.

Need to iron a few things, not that it will help jamming it all in my bag but we'll see!

Have a great week everyone!  Remember the November thread is already up and running so just scroll to find it okay?   Adios!
