@GingerHead No, I'm not on any blood thinners.
I use the following brands for my supplements: Mega Foods, Thorne, Pure Encapsulations and Garden of Life.
Do you have a brand preference regarding K2?

I don't have a certain brand but all the ones you mentioned seem to be high quality.
I do like Jarrow as well as the ones you mentioned....

I'm certainly not an expert but I have read that they work well together. I'm currently taking a supplement that offers both vitamin D3 5,000 IU with all three types of vitamin K (K2, K1, MK-7).
The brand that I have been using is Peak Performance.

I take Andrew Lessman K2 MK 7.
My PCP told me to take 2000IU D3 after having my levels tested. I was just one number above what is considered low.
I am taking calcium citrate as a calcium supplement after my last bone scan. But I have read that the body cannot absorb more than 500mg at a time so they must be spaced out. I have upped my milk intake and take 400mg of the supplement in the evening to get my 1200mg per day.

I agree wholeheartedly our traditional medical system is broken...they all just want to put bandaids on and pump us full of medications instead of individualizing and figuring out the root cause of things because there is a root cause!

I do use a specific brand of K2, I use Doctors Best 100 mcg, one cap per day. Most K2 is made from fermented Natto, a Japanese soy bean. Doctors Best is made from chick peas, I much prefer that to the other.

Also be sure your K2 is made from MK-7, MenaQ7, highest quality.

@Shelbelle Thank you! I will order from Amazon. With the D3 dose I take each day (7K mg) I'm reading that 200 mcg of K2 is appropriate. I'll start with 100 mcg and see how I do and go from there.
