John, i have a question, does a colonoscopy hurt? I am 63,never had one.

@goldensrbest

The first colonoscopy I had was without anesthesia.  I can't say it really hurt but it was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of pressure.  The last one I had was with Versed and I felt nothing.  I was awake shortly after the procedure.

John so glad to see your post.  You sound like you are on the mend again!

My DH swears he woke up during  his ablation of atrial fibrillation procedure after his stroke 11 years ago.  It was about a 6 hour operation.  He said he was awake for nearly half of it. The operation did fix his a-fib.

God bless that they found and fixed (yay!) the problem with the bleeding and good news that your heart is doing well.  Please get some rest so you can hurry home to Cindy and the "kids" . . . Smiley Happy

@hckynut

John, I'd say you have double nine lives, and that's eighteen and in our book, 18 means CHAI, and chai means life!

So relieved you're back.  Best wishes to you, Cindy, your beloved pets, and all yours.

@hckynut ... I did read and I'm in pain just reading.  My best wishes and prayers to you and Cindy.  I understand you want to know what they do and why ... I'm the same, but I never understand what they tell me. Smiley Happy  I just ask and pray. LOL

Hang in there buddy.  You are loved and needed ... at home and here.
