I requested general anesthesia (to be put to sleep) for the extraction of two upper molars this morning...
it went like a charm and I am now home performing "after care" as instructed.
I don't know why I was very nervous this time about the whole thing except I believe we can know when something is wrong with our bodies...
and mine has been screaming at me about something since last November.
Anyway, I'd like to say how grateful I am for this forum where I believe I have people who are supportive and helpful!❤️
Its good to have friends so thank you.❤️

Glad it's all over for you. Sometimes thinking about the extraction is worse than the actual extraction. Feel better.

I had a tooth extracted a few years agi. It was terrible. I wad wincing in the chair and the dentist Saud after " this want your first rodeo." I told him hec as rude and unprofessional
and never returned.

I had one extracted in January. Did not hurt at all. When I have dental work I always take a tylenol before the appointment. Best thing to remember is to do the aftercare. I rinsed with the salt water every four or five hours.

Thank you for this!
It reminds me...
I need to get the salt water rinses going!

Glad the removal of both teeth went so well. Since you were asleep, I'm confident the oral surgeon did not let you drive home youself! Do you have a friend or family member helping you today with food and if you need to pick up anything? (I have no idea what I'm talking about, except imagine you need someone to help for 24 hours?) Sleep well today!
What is the next step for you? Are you going to have two implants? One at a time? How soon does that begin and how long does that procedure take? Would expect that to be a long procedure since mouth wounds are slow healing. Best wishes as you progress through the various steps.
Please write about your experiences. Have so many questions, but feel so stupid asking them! IDK if many have gone through such a major oral surgery and reconstruction (is that what it's called when implants are completed for healthy teeth & gums?)

@LTT1 are you sure the dentist told you to rinse WTH salt water the day of the procedure?
