I have some sleep issues and my husband has started snoring when he is in certain positions. He used flonase in the PM hours but it does not seem to help. I am a very light sleeper and as a result I have been awake sine 5 30 am and he is still in bed asleep. I think he needs to be evaluated for Sleep apnea

My one cat snores. If I poke him, he scratches me.You're lucky you get to sleep so late. I rarely get to sleep past 4 a.m.

If you need your sleep, go sleep in another room.

A sleep apnea machine also makes noise which may disturb you.

Have you tried earplugs?  They are small soft flexible foam sold in drugstores.

Maybe you were just ready to wake up?  Some of us are early birds.  I was up at 4:39 today.  Fine with me.  Lovely to have the freedom to get up when I wish.

Has he tried those nasal strips (Breathe Right, for example)?

Both my husband and I have sleep apnea. He's had it longer. Neither one of our machines make noise so it wouldn't bother anyone. He definitely should be checked out, the sleep studies are a pain but well worth it.

I have had sleep apnea for 12 years and my machine does not make noise. If a machine makes noise, most likely, the mask is ill fitting and he or she may need a different type of mask.

He probably needs a sleep study and his primary doctor can set-him up with the doctor that he needs to get it done.

I had a recent sleep study and even with the loss of 88 pounds, I still have sleep apnea. I sleep very well with my machine with no noise.

@Still Raining I am no way ready to wake up at 5 30, its just I can not tolerate the noise. I have my own sleep issues track my sleep and spend my hours awake during the night
