Just drink lots of water.  And eat lots of leafy greens high in water content.

 

If changing diet from a restrictive, low carb lifestyle or a processed, fast food lifestyle, all this fiber will restore your glucose levels...which will absorb water in the process.

You're making the PERFECT move to create health gut flora with beans, fruits, vegetables.  It takes awhile to get everything balanced out. 

 

No need to take OTC supplements, powders or tablets.   

Just let Nature do her job with good food choice of Beans, Fruit/Veg.

Be patient.

You'll be rewarded ten-fold.

What helps me sometimes is bran cereal, or strong coffee !

 

I eat beans, beans, beans    LOL

 

as people have said......WATER

 

coffee, tea, SODAS do not count !

@sidsmom   i agree but sometimes it is difficult to eat beans and legumes and get all the vegetables you need.   sometimes if you have too much fiber you get backed up too the fiber powder can help kick start things.  if certain medications cause back ups too -  its good to have on hand.

Besides adding more leafy greens, I would also

-) add ground Flaxseed and

-) eliminate all Dairy (dairy can cause constipation in a heartbeat).

We eat ground flax and chia seeds.  They help with cholesterol numbers and add fiber to the diet.
