When Chipolte first came on the scene years back, I was pleased because I like the spices, the beans, etc. But even when I was obese, I knew calories and other nutritional info was important and they were offering me food I just knew I could get addicted to. I guess I should be happy I never tried them.

As for the problems - somewhere someone is cutting corners they shouldn't - maybe in the supply chain, maybe in the employee chain, maybe it's policy of one of the companies, but I always think first that lots of these issues come from someone being lazy or being greedy.

Isn't this disgusting??!! @FlowerBear I live here, I believe I heard they cleaned up this on and it's already re-opened. YUK!!!

They've had SO MANY shut downs in this city at different chips here it's unbelievelable. And they're getting ready to open a brand new on on across the street from OSU main campus.

Someone really needs to step in and SHUT DOWN this entire chain for good. I don't eat at this chain because I don't like their grub but apparently no one here who eats at any of them here cares about how UNclean they are.

This number continues to grow and they still don't know the cause. At first they said an employee was sick yet went to work. Now they're claiming of course it was the food. Wonder when they'll figure this one out.

I've never eaten at a Chipolte's......and never intend to. Something is radically wrong to have repeat incidents like this.

I stopped eating at Chipotle in 2003. Never really liked their food.

I always enjoyed the items I selected for my bowl and for a few years would eat at Chipolte maybe once a month. Then we noticed the floors and table top were dirty, and then noticed the serving line was really messy and employees not cleaning up behind themselfs. I let this happen twice and after the 3rd time it happened, I emailed the corp office. I promply received an email stating the regional manger for this store would like to discuss this with me. She called and we talked for about 30 minutes. She asked a dozen or more questions and I gave honest answerers. I told her I doubted I would be going back, but thanked her for her time. She asked that I please give it about two weeks and please go back and see if any changes happened. I told her I would do that. I went back to weeks later and the place was spotless. Clean floors, cleans tables , clean cooking area. I was impressed. I contacted her back and gave her a full report. She kindly sent me a nice letter explaining what had been done and thanked me again for all the info. I provided. Went back to my routine of going about once a month and things stayed clean and nice. About a year later, down hill it went again. I contacted the regional manager as asked and she was no longer with the company. I have never been back. When it was good it was good, when it was bad it was bad...
