I read that William Shatner was not the first choice for the role of Captain Kirk.  It was offered to Jack Lord, but he turned it down and did Hawaii Five O instead.  WS was perfect as Kirk and I think JL was perfect as Steve McGarrett.

Loved Boston Legal so much that I have all the season on dvd.  Haven't watched them in years as my dvd isn't hooked up to my smart tv.  One would think that a smart tv would know how to do that. 🤣
