Hey Witchenettes, just curious, do you read other BB or mainly here (as in QVC BB)?

Do you post on other boards much?

I read other sites (recipes mostly) but I don't post on other boards.

Just curious...

If anybody needs a quick laugh, here is the sneak peek to the 2016 Chick-fil-A calendar . . . reminds me of SDP's calendar:

I post on a private women's BB that's been around for well over 10 years (it started out public but a group of us took it private a number of years ago).  I would say it's my main board only because I've known everyone there for so long and met many in person over the years through travel.

I also post very infrequently on the Mark's Daily Apple forum if there is a question that I have something worth adding, but I don't converse with anyone there like I do here.

I tried getting into the Taste of Home boards, but they are very very slow moving and the few people who post there are very tight groups who have posted for many years.

Until recently, this forum used to move really fast with lost of posting.  Now it's pretty dead here.  I can check in once a day and get caught up.  It used to be a great lunchtime distraction.

@straykatz

I'm glad you participated.  We are having a chili cookoff next week.  I have a killer recipe that my last boyfriend used for his chili cookoff and he took the title.  He works for a large goverment agency and it was a huge competition.  His trophy is huge, too.

I will post the recipe next time I make it.  It is a Gooseberry recipe but it's not online anywhere.  I have it scribbled on a piece of paper.  It's so good, I stopped making my own chili recipe that I made up years ago.  I think I'm going to skip the competition this year.  I hope it's well received.  I will see if it gets a huge turnout and I may throw in.  It would mean going into the office and I really hate going into the office if I don't have to.

I'm on Day #2 of my patch test.  The surgical tape was a huge mistake.  I can't take my top off because I think it will take off all of the tape and patches if I do.  The tape is all wadded up and sticking to my top.  I will wear this into the office tomorrow and change into something else to come home.  I hope the patches are still there. I can't really tell.  I was busy all day today so the day went by quickly.

Noon tomorrow can't come soon enough.  Once the patches and tape are off, I can actually leave the house and do something.

Good morning everyone.

@VaBelle35  Your chili recipes sounds good.  Good luck in the cook-off.  I love chili.  Wish I could be there to judge for you.

Left overs for breakfast this morning....:-)    Even though I didn't win...I really like this strata and I'm so glad that I got to make it or I would never have discovered this recipe.  I did modify slighly...I doubled the mozzarella cheese and added a 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg.  Let the mixture sit in my fridge overnight to really soak up the liquid...then baked in the morning.

Have a nice day everyone....Typical office day for me....I'll peek in throughout the day.

Day #3 of my patch test.  I cannot get to their office at noon fast enough to get all this tape off of me.  I crackle when I move.
