OK - this seems kinda odd but I'm 95% sure I saw this on the Q - probably ITKWD. Someone showed a recipe where you used a slow cooker. They first softened 1/2 carton of chocolate ice cream then let it melt. Next they took a package of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough and cut it into 12 pieces and I assume added it to the ice cream. Apparently I didn't see the end because I don't know what setting to use on the slow cooker and for how long. Did anyone else see or hear of this? I have googled this a ton of times and can't find anything like this. TIA

Thank you so much! That's it! I did look in David's recipes and other places on here but must have missed it. Going to have to make it soon.

This sounds like a quick way to ruin some perfectly good cookies and ice cream.

I must say this sounds bizarre. So do you eat it hot, or let it set up at room temperature, or refrigerate it? What is the consistency? Has anyone actually done this?
