Ice Cream Dessert in the Slow Cooker

On a recent ITKWD, a dessert was shown that started with ice cream in the slow cooker and cookie dough was added on top of the ice cream.  Does anyone have this recipe?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Ice Cream Dessert in the Slow Cooker

It is called the "Gooey Cookie Dessert" and is in the Fix-It and Forget-It Champion Recipes Cookbook ...

3-1/2 cups full fat vanilla ice cream (half of 1-3/4 quart container)

16-1/2 roll of refrigerated ready to bake chocolate chip cookie dough

Grease interior of slow cooker crock

Turn empty slow cooker to high to preheat

Place ice cream in warmed crock, spreading and pushing it to make it layer ... Lumps are fine ... They will melt.  Slice cookie dough into 12 slices.  Press the slices into the ice cream.  Cover and cook on high for two hours until edges are browning and the center is cooked.

i have not made yet ...  If you have a minute please respond after you make it !!  I would love to hear ...
