Shelbybiskit, mine did not come out over cooked. I set the crock pot for the amount of time it suggested, and it was fine{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

wow this recipe has a ton of sodium! I would have to figure out how to cut most of it in order to make it for my family; it sounds really good!

Use low-sodium cream soup and don't use the salt. I'm not sure if you can find low-sodium Velveeta but I think that would be your only sodium source if you make the above changes

even the so-called low-sodium soups are high and there are two in the recipe.

Ladies, please; low sodium Velveeta. Sacrilege. Magnolia, I will be trying this, soon. The reduced sodium Cambell's Soups should cut the sodium, but it still won't be a low sodium dish.

This does sound marvelous - I'm trying to figure out how to make it so that it's easy on my lactose intolerant stomach....lactose-free cheese, yes, but it's always tricky when the 'cream of' soups are in the mix.

I cooked angel hair pasta, and it did not over cook or get mushy at all.

I have this in my slow cooker right now. It is such a good dish for cold weather, and what could be easier?

This sounds so yummy. The only thing I am leaving out is the green chilies. Can't wait to try this. Thank You!
