It seems there won't be any point in reading or writing any reviews.  If the product is outstanding, there won't be many, if any, left in inventory.

Wonder how the manufacturers feel about this new process.  Won't they need to make many more products in order to have enough sales to stay with QVC?

I don't understand this "only order of the year".  Shorts and/or Bermuda shorts in March.  Sold out in most sizes and the only order of the year?  Why on earth would they fail to order twice as many or make an immediate second order when they know most of their viewers will be wanting shorts later iin the spring?  I tried to order in my size early and they were sold out.  Shame on you QVC - give us the things we want when you know we want them. That's just good business.  Bet the B&M stores will have plenty further into the spring.  I'll do my shopping then and there.

I literally just wrote this about this very thing to QVC, because yeaterday I missed out on 2 items because I couldnt watch until the next day.  They were D&C and Logo, so very popular items.  Its very unfair to customers who cant sit and watch 24/7, which, I would have thought, would be most customers.

Is anyone else concerned about the frequency of new items being "...only order of year or season...."?  Love that Q has always had waitlist or ample inventory so I could go back and order another of same item.  Also could wait for some reviews before ordering a new item if I was not sure of sizing, e.g.  I am not always near a computer when new item is on air.  Hosts don't always present all details and on air measurements do not appear as frequently as needed.   By the time I am able to get info online, item is gone.   Sadly this is not a good QVC change for me. Anyone else?

Personally, I think the "only order for the year" statement is just an age-old sales technique.

Agree.  QVC has been really emphasizing this the last few years.  Also "when it's gone, it's gone" and never to return.

Right.  Not clothing, but that is why it takes a year to get Temp-tations kitchen items back in.

After watching Kersten Lindquest host a 2 hour LOGO show last evening, I had enough of her repeatedly stating, "Only Order of the Season."  She not continues to repeat this phrase last evening, but on any show she is hosting, doesn't have to fashion.  Enough is enough already, pressure to buy is not appealing to me.

On another note, QVC please don't have Kerstein host LOGO shows,  she was not prepared, never had colors correct, didn't have much to say and it appeared to me that Lori Goldstein had to work trip time.  I enjoy Amy and Sharon, I had to turn it off last night because of the repetitive sales pitch and watching Kerstein flub through 2 hours of being ill prepared
