Hello Folks! 

Let's look ahead to the weekend to see what's in store in Q land............

Just as mysterious as the Wizard Of Oz is Q's featured product.....THE AMAZON ECHO!!   The personal assistant and entertainment device! The Echo is connected to Alexa --she gives weather reports, plays music, plays games, and provides all kinds of information........

      

       

There's fascinating stories about Alexa, one about a parrot imitating his owner's voice and placing orders.......

In addition to the AMAZON ECHO SHOWS, there are also AMAZON ELECTRONIC SHOWS-featuring not only Echo, but also tablets, and the Amazon Fire TV Stick.....Sounds like a fascinating day of fun.......

Let's switch to a more calming experience .....like fashion with AM STYLE WITH LEAH WILLIAMS --special guest Issac Mizrahi!  

Fashionistas will certainly be watching...And they will be tuning in later in the evening for ISAAC MIZRAHI LIVE!

Speaking of Dyson, my local Sam's Club is selling the cordless V6 for $299.   Of course no colors and not sure what attachments come with it.    

And speaking of the NFL Draft, I love the commercial, Dallas graphics & music.   Rock on!

Glad the post gave you a giggle...........

Sometimes the Q's TSVs arent always the best value---its funny how the hosts keep going over and over the colors! I wonder if it really makes a big difference in their sales...personally Id rather get the best price!!!  And not only vacuums this weekend we will be seeing the Dyson fans too....

Yes that NFL Draft commercial is fun and clever...and especially funny because one of the Quarterbacks initials are JR...LOL!!!  ---WELL DONE!

all right, my Friday is complete because I've read the PREVIEW and admired all of the photos.  The animals all dressed up are so amazing to look at.  Some of them are better dressed (with makeup) than I am.  Well I haven't bothered to buy an Alexa - I have this thing about electronics controlling things and "spying" on me.  Sorry I guess I just have concerns with this.  I wasn't interested in having Amazon be able to open my house all by themselves to deliver things inside.  Sorry, just no, it's not for me.

I will be skipping the Dyson (I just bought the other fan that was a Big Deal) for myself -- I like the functions, it has a grille that the kitties can't put their paws into AND it has a remote plus it was WAY cheaper than anything that comes with the Dyson name on it.  Hopefully I will be happy with it.  It came yesterday but since I am still wearing a sweater and long pants here in the Philly area, I didn't unbox it yet.

Funny that I used to watch ITKWD all the time but somehow the bloom is off the rose for me on all that.  It could have to do with NOT needing another thing for my kitchen. I'm actually getting rid of appliances I'm not using, so I don't want to be tempted by watching.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Supposedly the weather will be reasonable nice/warm on Saturday but Sunday, windy and much cooler.  Sigh -- a bit tired of all that.

HEY GINA!

Yep, ITKWD just seems to be a retread of the SAME ole products over and over and over AGAIN every single weekend ! 

Kitchen Aid, Copper Chef, TONS of already prepared food, some kind of blender, and then they will pause to do the TSV even if it's not food or kitchen related so David will be taking some time to talk about FANS!!!!......  (I can't wait to see what happens if the TSV is a Breezies bra-LOL).....

Ive heard pros and cons about Dyson--heard their vacuums are as heavy as all heck and some say not worth their price!!!  And their fans seem to have a smaller space to distribute the cool air...yes they dont have blades and no worries about kitty's paws, but as you said other manufacturers protect our kitties and are a lot cheaper....and then add to it the cost of the filters too......  And I had the Q on in the background this morning while I started cooking....and David said that QVC is all out of filters right now but should be restocked in a month and but you get the first filter with the TSV....but one wonders how often will the Q run out....and then you have to pay more for them at the Dyson website too......The deal sounds worse and worse to me the more I hear it....You were smart to chose another brand....I just have a more traditional Holmes fan that I bought from QVC and it works like a charm in our hot Texas summers---I turn up the A/C temperature and use fans to save some money on my electric bill in the summer months.  That fan keeps my place cool and is so quiet too.....

I'm not much into Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri.....I prefer to do things myself, I can look things up myself, and it doesnt take much effort to play music or set an alarm reminder on my phone either....And I loved seeing Alexa mess up when I watched 2 minutes of Saturday morning Q.....David asked Alexa to do something or answer a question and she said, "I don't think I can do that"........LOL!!!  And awhile back when Dan Wheeler played a spelling game with Alexa, he spelled the words right, but Alexa kept saying he was wrong---LOL (that demo even made You Tube).............

Well I hope your weather improves and you get some REAL spring type weather and it stays that way so you can put away those sweaters and winter clothes!
