Before everyone jumps on me, this is my opinion.

I liked it better when the vendors were remote.  In fact, I think some of the vendors, like Gary, look uncomfortable as do some of the hosts.

Re: Vendors on set

[ Edited ]

I was just thinking the same thing.  The vendors on set look like they are getting in the way.

Also, if I were a vendor and had the option of staying home and working remotely I would stay home.

I think some of the vendors learned to do well remotely.  For me, Gary would be one of those, so if he's more comofrtable from home I'll still tune in if I want to see what D&Co. is offering.

Some of the vendors and reps, I don't like at all remotely, but I can easily tune out if I want.

I thought Gary was having a lot of fun.

Gary is not a vendor, he works for QVC. I have never seen him look uncomfortable while presenting the merchandise.

I mentioned him only because the OP said she thought he looked uncomfortable.  And I didn't think he did.🤷‍♀️

I was just thinking how much I enjoy having Gary and Carolyn together. I could live without Nutsy but that's a different issue. Carolyn is a pro and Gary really knows his line. For D&C, I like Gary to be in the studio. There are other designers I'd like to see back on set like Dennis Basso and Stan Herman. They're fun and engaging to watch, giving live presentations a boost. They make presentations more interesting for me. I completely respect your point of view. We all have our own preferences.

I'm happy vendors are back.   Looked too artificial with remote vendors.  Colors did not show correctly.  Too much switching back and forth between screens and no real interaction between vendors and hosts.  Did not look like live presentations and they were often not sure who was supposed to be on air.

I was just clarifying for those who might think that he is a vendor. I was agreeing with you about his demeanor! I would think that given the camaraderie between he and Carolyn, QVC may have encouraged him to be back in the studio.

There tends to be a lot of idle, unnecessary chit chat when the vendors are there in person.  Kerstin was on with somebody recently and they spent way too much time talking about their kids.  I'd be just as happy if they were still remote.  I'm not interested in Kerstin kids.
