You deleted my post in CC entitled "Emotional Intelligence (EQ)" as follows:
"This post has been removed by QVC because it contains political side line stories"
I have never complained before and think the mods do a good job overall. But this deletion seems over the top to me, and I don't think I've ever seen it before. OK, delete the link. But QVC posters are no longer able to read articles that may contain many, many different side line topics? Everything on the web contains different side line topics and ads.
Is this a new rule? The topic I posted about is not political at all and I think would have been an interesting conversation. I am very disappointed it wasn't allowed for a completely unreasonable reason.

@LilacTree. I have seen this before. Also saw one that had sidelines of ..how should I put this....things anyone under 18 should not be viewing.
Just thought I'd let you know what I have seen. I have so much trouble with the font! Sorry!

I know. Also, people running to the Mods to report posters and posts. Some people have nothing better to do. Board Monitors. Well. I've made my feelings clear in another thread on this subject. .

The mods don't blindly delete everything that is reported. They read it and determine if it should be themselves.

Seems as if the moderator based the deletion on this Standard:
Do not post web addresses (URLs) for, or links to, outside sites that violate these guidelines.

@LilacTree The same thing happened to me last week. I posted a link to a British newspaper site that had photos of Geo. and Amal Clooney's mansion outside London to show a poster here the house they'd purchased there. My post was deleted because, unbeknownst to me, some of the "side" photos along the margins of the article - which I'd never even noticed - were too risque for this audience (I think the offending photo had a topless sunbather you could barely see because the photo was taken from so far away.
So no, it's not just your post.

They delete posts for no apparent reason but ignore requests to delete one.
They forget that they are young and they may be well educated but lack a lot of life experiences. Otherwise, they would understand!

A few weeks ago someone posted a link to TMZ that had sidebar photos that one would not necessarily associate with QVC: actress in a see-thru top with no bra or efforts to censor the photo, bare bottoms in string thong bikinis, etc. Lots of racy photos (sexual captions) with bare breasts & bottoms, but moderators had no problems with that link, so it makes me wonder where they draw the line. Guess no politics, but nudity and sex talk are okay?
Need more consistency IMO.

Who said anything about the Mods blindly deleting posts? If you're referring to my comment (even if you're not), I'm commenting on the reporters who elect themselves the Board Police not the Mods (although, there's often very little discernment going on in choices made -- now that you mention it)..

There have been at least two threads recently asking for prayers for an ill person. Yet a joke mentioning prayers was deleted for being "religious."
