Just too much embellishment on her tops now...zippers, sparkles, studs, buckles, etc....the sleeves are a huge turn off for me...ruffles, flounces, bells...she needs to get back to what initially made her successful on QVC. I bought several of her tops to wear to work....no garish flowers but some subtle patterns or solids....would buy them again but haven’t seen anything like that for a long time. The prices are way too high for what I will pay

@lovesrecess  I so agree about ruffles, flounces, & bells!   I find myself purchasing just plain t-shirt type tops now because I can't find any dressier looking tops anywhere that don't have a lot of excess fabric hanging here, there, and everywhere on them! Woman Wink

I agree her prices are getting a little over the top but my complaint is that I can't find a tank top in her liquid knit in white. I love to wear them under jackets and blouses and have many colors but I need WHITE. Saw a tank top tonight but it had black stripes and was an overlay. Just a plain white liquid knit tank top please.

Check Q website for Bob Mackie's line....think I saw some there recently. Not liquid knit, but probably good fabric.

I look on ebay or Poshmark for Susan Graver liquid knit tops and I've gotten many for a good price.  I also sell some of mine that might be too small on me now.  Check it out you can get some good deals and many of the older styles are cute.

I am glad I am not alone is being upset over these prices. I have been around for a very long time. It seems that last year, her clothes were in the $40's and the year before were in the $30's. Now they are in the $60's and $70's to start out, even for a simple Tshirt type thing in Liquid knit.

I used to buy a lot of her line but now I refuse to pay that when I see it is more than Bob Mackie, who I adore. I will buy something of hers on sale if ir is reasonable and a bit under $40, else no I pass.

I agree that you can find some great things on eBay as I have done that too!

One quick remark that I forgot to mention. I never buy LOGO either. Clothes and great styles are cheaper and better at Macy's!

I do not know but she finally does a cotton modal and does it in a top not a tunic!!! Ugh!

I have made a decision to no longer purchase overpriced clothing from QVC. SG prices and others have continued to rise . So much so that the convenience of ordering is not a valid reason to purchase.I now pretty much mute the sound when QVC is on depending on merchandise and host. Then look online later , sort of like looking thru a catalog. There are hosts KL for one and vendors Renee for one that I simply prefer not to watch. Both too graphic for my taste. We all have different opinions about everything . I try to be objective and respectful while being tolerant of opinions different than my own.

Back in the day I purchased more SG than I do now....her designs do not appeal to me much anymore....way to many bold prints, ruffles, and other add ons to the clothes....sizing is  off as well.

That is why I haven't purchasd from S.Graver for years now. Everything is fussy, loud in colors , patterns, embelishments and fabric that clings or you sweat in. Years ago her stuff was more refined and classic. Must say that Chicos has gone the same way and don't buy there any longer either. Alot of my friends feel the same way.
