short answer because that's what Q wants to charge

every brand has a price point at which they want to sell their product,  stores are full of similar things

I think that Susan's clothing line is for the most part very good quality. I have worn many of her clothing pieces for years, and washed many times over. Mine are as she says, no pills, no fading.

I don't think the prices for her clothing are all that expensive. I do know that I can shop at Target, or T J Maxx, and pay less. There is some convenience for shopping at home though. Less of my time, and no gas driving.

I think we pay for the convenience of seeing the products live, modeled, and then of course delivered to our home.

It's expensive because people will pay the price if they want it.  I don't need polyester or ruffles on my butt that badly!

I agree her prices are getting a little over the top but my complaint is that I can't find a tank top in her liquid knit in white. I love to wear them under jackets and blouses and have many colors but I need WHITE. Saw a tank top tonight but it had black stripes and was an overlay. Just a plain white liquid knit tank top please.

@sienna123  That sleeveless top you mentioned was $56.00! At least sleeves means more polyester for the price.lol

Yes. Her line has gotten more expensive. Especially over the past couple of years.

All I can say is - the pieces from her line I do have are well done and consistent in sizing.

** I also want to add her denim is great! Enough stretch - but not too much, and does not

end up sagging and bagging. And super soft!

(Love her crop length denim! And, I agree with her about adding a bootie come fall and winter - will be super cute!)

She is out of my budget, has been for awhile. I won't spend that much for her clothing.

I ordered and light pink and a white tank just this week.  It was a brand with no stain or something like that, can't think of the name of the brand.  Do a search on QVC.  Looked really nice too, $41.00, I believe.

Susan’s prices are higher than those of well known designers

like Bob Mackie and Louis Dell O’lio.

Almost all her line is Liquid knit.
