I have officially stopped doing any Christmas gift shopping from QVC because I just can't trust that it will arrive in time.  We are doing a "Secret Santa" exchange at work next week and I thought of a couple things from QVC, then decided against it because there's no way it would arrive within 10 days.  And really, anything that needs to arrive before December 23rd is just too iffy at this point.  Yet they keep selling . . .

@Suzeecat   I agree!  Things sitting in process way too long.   Thanksgiving being late held things up even more.   THey are showing the echo right now and it is the same price on Amazon and you will have it in two days.   I am still waiting for mine ordered the day of the TSV---Won't get them till the 6th.  I won't ever order a Amazon product from QVC again.

For those ordering for Christmas....shoppers beware....

I actually have a top that I bought from QVC D&C that I absolutely love...the fabric was wonderful and the fit was PERFECT (which is a QVC rarity these days) ....so I decided to order it in a different color....Well it took 10 days IN PROCESS and I just got it today....WRONG color and WRONG size....Woman Frustrated  I guess QVC doesnt want my business.....  GOOD LUCK FOLKS!

@Spurt   That is terrible.  That would end it for me as well.  I never buy clothes from here.

I ordered the exact same item last month, was shipped from their PA Warehouse, came in 3 days.   Not understanding their logic.

Same with me!!!!  It is ridiculous!

@sunshine45  You must have some special connections at QVC, because your experience is not the norm.

The rest of us deal with slow shipping--to my address in CO it's at least 10 days--mixups in orders, returns & refunds not credited, expensive two-way shipping charges...the list goes on and on. In a world of free and fast shipping as a STANDARD, QVC is way behind, which I suspect is the reason for their declining sales last year. With Amazon & others online dominating the market, fewer customers will put up with QVC's antiquated business model.

qvc has MANY customers and only a very very small percentage actually post on these boards. i am not sure who "the rest of us" are that you refer to, other than some of the posters on here.  i have no special connections and i dont know if my experience may be "the norm" or not.. there have been customers who also post similar experiences to mine.

of course, to each his own. we should all shop where we have good experiences, good products, and excellent customer service.

interestingly, i do have amazon prime and THAT has slowed up for me. i ordered items on friday and they are now not expected until wednesday.

@sunshine45  I'm well aware that QVC has many customers with varying experiences, but QVC's shipping problems are well documented both here in the forums--repeatedly in the Linea forum--and in the media, along with their disappointing 2019 sales attributed partially to the shipping issues. For you to deny the problem, or try to minimize it against the OP's valid concerns, seemed disingenous.

Hi, sea breeze

I have the same dilemma.  When it ships from PA I get mine faster too.  I think the issue is that some of QVC's warehouses are in different states and some items ship from South Carolina.  I have an order now that's just sitting there for days and days.  I have to wait four more days until they can send me another one that will finally move.  When it ships from SC, I have to wait.  One package got lost.  I never got it.  I would not gift something that had a time frame on it unless I ordered a month ahead.

Hi, Sunshine45.  Yes, I'm having shipping issues too.  I have a package that's just sitting in South Carolina.  No activity.  I had an Amazon account for years, decades.  I was a Prime member too.  All of a sudden I was a victim of phishing.  I kept getting packages with our address but an unknown name.  We called Amazon and they said, oh, just keep it.  OH JUST KEEP IT?  What if it was a 3,500 bracelet????  It happened twice.  I closed my account and I'm no longer a Prime member.  Yes, I did get packages much faster but phising is dangerous.  Someone is trying to get name, birthdate, address so that they can finally get the last four digits of SS #.  Amazon did not care about these bogus packages and they all were related to things for a child.  I've never seen QVC say, oh, just keep it.  I'm not comfortable with this at all.  I researched it and that's what came out, phishing.  Amazon is way larger than QVC and their reps are off shore.  Anyway, yes, I'm kind of disappointed in QVC and this shipping thing.  They do UPS handed off to USPS.  I see from others it's a chronic problem.  I agree with you, Sunshine45.

not minimizing ANYONES concerns on their personal orders. i am not an executive of qvc and i DONT know how widespread the issue is......my guess is is that neither do you. i pretty simply stated MY experiences over the past year or so......have had no major issues and i order quite a bit from qvc all year long. any issues that i HAVE had have been promptly taken care of by customer service. if you feel like i am denying anyones problems then you have not read my thoughts correctly.

for the record, i am in maryland......most things arrive within 3 - 5 days.

I haven't posted here in years, but I read almost every day.  Had to comment on this.  I ordered something on Nov. 12th.  The status is "in process" and not able to make any changes at this time.  I talked with Customer Service today about cancelling the order.  She said she couldn't, but I told her it's been processing for over 18 days!   She said she sent an email to the corporate office explaining the situation and asking for a cancellation.  I appreciated her trying to help, but I'm not expecting anything.  Frustrating!

Re: Shipping Problems, Losing Sales

When a company QVC) posts an apology for slow shipping you know there is a real problem.  HSN on the other hand has been great for shipping, at least for me.
