It has been in the 60s where I live for 6 weeks, and in the low 50s at night. July and August are the cool, cloudy, foggy months. Never lived anywhere like that before (recently moved) and it's weird! I never used to "get it" when QVC would sell sweaters & long sleeves through spring and summer - now I do.

But I was b&m shopping today and as others have said, the summer stuff is all picked over and on clearance (nothing I wanted), so it's not like it's just QVC marketing oddly.

It was amusing to see them pushing the Tsv- poncho . Understandably it might be cooler in some spots, but a ridiculous oversized poncho on July 11...? Lol

Any garment that makes the models look heavy is not for me, regardless of when it is the season to wear it.

It's a great Poncho if you like Poncho's!  Could be worn now in the evenings if you were outside!!Woman Wink

The fashion world works seasons ahead....they are already into next summer and fall.  I've always shopped for fall in summer time.   My understanding is that this garment is lighter in weight.   I wouldn't wear it in the NE but, some may in air conditioning.

This is nothing new!  You can count on the Fashion Industry to start pushing fall/winter clothing after the 4th of July!  It is nothing new!  And that particular poncho was described and redescribed as "light"  and "transitional".  However, I'm  one poncho gal.  I have one and don't want another one.....

BTW, DH and I are going out today in search of a couple of pair of shorts for him because he finally blew out his favorite pair (= really old and I can't repair them without significantly changing the size!)  But LOL... good luck to us finding shorts in July!!  But we'll find a few pairs he likes come January!!!  Woman WinkWoman Wink

Even if it is lightweight material the look was just too voluminous for a summer garment. I think this would have sold better in late August.
