Nancy has changed, she used to be one of the best spoken hosts at the Q. She and Antonella were great together when they did the jewelry shows. I could never understand why the Q hired that guy as their gem expert when they already had a GIA certified host. Anywho is no doubt a word they used where she came from, that does not bother me. I think Nancy lost her confidence, I hope she can get it back.

I have also noticed many of the new hosts are now saying "as well". I thought after Pat
stopped using that phrase we were finally finished hearing that.
Listening to the nightly local news, many are also using "as well". My feeling is it doesn't
add anything to the sentence since it is used at the end of the sentence. When did this
become common practice

I have not seen Nancy Hornbeck in ages. She must be on the Q2 channel now. I do remember her singing years ago wen on air.

OMG! I had no idea that 50 or 51 was the cut-off age for being "cute." Time to find a new bag of tricks. ![]()

@RoughDraft Actually the cut off for cute is around 30ish or a woman looks like she is trying to hard. You can be youthful at any age but not cute.

Duly noted! I'll try remembering that when I feel a "cuteness" sensation overcoming me. But at my age, I can't guarantee I'll succeed.

@RoughDraft You don't need my permission; I don't care what you do.
