@TenderMercies,  she expressed a strong personal opinion and you find it “unsettling”? Why? Because it differs than your own? Because  you want to imply it’s something more than simply an opinion? These boards are loaded with strong opinions. Are they all “unsettling” in your own strong opinion?

@Sheilaray No, they’re not all unsettling.  Just the ones expressed by adults that are immature, viscous and contain name calling.  That’s my opinion, and I’m entitled to mine, too.

I’m going to assume you mean ‘vicious.’

LOL, I think so, yes.  Although, I've always enjoyed that word, viscous.  It's fun to say.

I dont know if anyone every answered your question regarding David M.  Someone on the Jewelry Category had a whole topic on his departure.  His days on QVC ended back in 2016.  Here's what his Linkedin Profile says scroll down and read under Summary and Experience...and under previous employer QVC 1994-2016.

Now he's employed by Jewelry Source Inc in NYC for less than a year..........

@Spurt Interesting thing about the website for Jewel Source, Inc. in NYC -- the selection of jewelry includes some pieces that are quite familiar.  So, the Agatha Christie in me clicked on their home link, then their learn more link.  It says one of their business partners include "TV Shopping Networks."  You see where I'm going...

But...but...Lisa gets all of her jewelry directly from the fingers of the craftspeople in Italy....right? Except for the “more affordable” pieces that come from China. And those are okay because “most jewelry is made in China these days” according to fans who are thrilled to buy Chinese jewelry that Lisa sells.

LOL LOL.  @Moonchilde I don't know what any of Lisa's jewelry looks like, so I cannot attest for their source.

But I do dabble in QVC's and HSN's jewelry lines [to the chagrin of my credit card] and the pieces on the Jewel Source's website look very familiar or at least similar.  If David is working for them [and perhaps merely consulting with Lisa], he appears to be working for one of the suppliers for QVC's jewelry.  Makes sense, presumeably he would have had a great working relationship with them over the many years when he was at QVC.

Re: Lisa Robertson & David Markstein

Oh, I got your drift, @Caaareful Shopper ;-) I just wouldn’t think that the woman who associates herself with cutting edge style and handcrafted Italian “gold” (much of which is actually bronzo) would want someone as her consultant that represents garden variety shopping channel jewelry. The horror! ;-)

Re: Lisa Robertson & David Markstein

I think she is just an insecure person  in constant need for attention....  she likes to be the center of attention..  I wonder if she misses all the phone calls and trible people calling in to QVC to tell her how much they love her,she is beautiful etc..  seems she started a business selling stuff and doing her live chats... she misses the attention..
