I tuned into the L&L presentation with Racheal hosting just as she was saying and these will be at this price for 3 more minutes. Smiley Happy I could not have made it to the other room with the computer and turned it on before that limit expired.

The regular price is $20.+instead of $18.50  I may buy them as I have cheapy plastic ones that the lid pops off of when DH shakes them .(against my advice to always check lid and shake over sink--oh-oh --cleanup aisle 7  Smiley Happy

I know L&L would not let this happen. I do wish they offered a clear one. I see they come with 4 lids.

@SouthernBee  Finally found it on Etsy. I tried to search the image as well, but I didn't find it. What search engine do you use?

This is beautiful!

I don't put a plastic water pitcher on the table either, but I love the lock and lock pitcher in the fridge. I use them for juice and lemonade and other things that we just want a glass of, but aren't going to serve out of.

I ordered my third set, because they don't always have those half gallon ones and they are my favorite size. I wish they would offer a set of just the half gallon ones.

@nana59

it is definitely heavy!

i found another listing for that same pitcher and it says that it weighs 4 pounds, 8 ounces empty. not so great for every day use or at barbeques. Smiley Wink

@okaywitheasypay

they offered clear I think that went first!  I do love those pitchers and like they have "travel" tops...although, only thing I travel with is my wine cooler to the pool😉

I have clear Lock and Lock pitchers but I wanted the colored ones for things that stain the clear.

@PA Mom-mom : I can't use heavy items and would worry about the lead content especially if it had any small cracks or chips. Previously a friend gave me several cheap glass pitchers and only used then for flowers or special decorations. Southern Bee

So how old does Waterford have to be to be safer as far as lead content?  Mine start back to about 1994 or so.  I have been thinking about using some for every day but have wondered about that.

Re: Lock & Lock Pitchers

[ Edited ]

@SouthernBee I only use my Waterford for special occasions and flowers. Mostly, they just sit in my china closet. My favorite pattern is Clare, but I have some Kylemore Double Old Fashioned glasses. I also have an old large Heisey pitcher that is filled with wrapped chocolate minis. It's so heavy I don't think the grandkids can hurt it. Too heavy to use at the table!
