@DiAnne it's a processed pork product and depending on where in the state you live or how old you are some people still call it Taylor Ham.

It's in the same category as SPAM but really good tasting!

Usually it's Cheerios Cinnamon Oat Crunch cereal.

What do you do with the other half?

I leave it in the skin, put it in a quart size zip lock bag and put it in a cool place. If I don't eat it the next morning I throw it out. My favorite banana is just past green and firm.....but I discard because of freshness.

Thanks! I was just wondering if anyone else does what I do with any unused bananas-I put mine in a freezer bag as well, and I put them in the freezer to use for smoothies.

Sounds good @RetRN . Our last two mornings have been cereal topped with strawberries. Wednesday might be a pancake day.

Sunday morning my wife took her mom to the farmers market and on the way home she got 2 corn and 2 pumpkin muffins so we had them Sunday and Monday and this morning I made strawberry bread toasted with butter. And coffee. I usually buy cinnamon raisin bread for a couple mornins but I saw the strawberry bread and gave it a try.I bought it again its really good.

@Ladybug724  I also freeze very ripe bananas to make banana bread. This morning I used one of my ripe bananas to make a banana milk shake and had a slice of whole wheat toast with it.

When I first wake up, I have 1/2 cup of orange juice and take my

medications. Usually, a little later, I have Cheerios, unless I have some kind of toast.

Had a fasting lab appointment this morning & was starving! But I resisted the temptation to feast on a full diner-style meal. Fixed a cottage cheese, blueberries & chopped nectarines parfait. Slice of whole wheat toast with butter & of course my coffee, coffee, ☕☕☕ love it!
