I loved that show !  Don't make 'em like that any more.

All the silly plots and voodoo curses, stirring the pot and shaking

the chicken feet putting curses on folks. Great show!

Yeah, I  had forgotten all about that show....until a few minutes ago!  I can absolutely recall the chicken feet shakin!  You've got a great memory.

What Toja said, about refrigerating the broth then skimming. Also, back in the day (big day for reminiscing today) I usually had a container or two in the freezer, always handy for last-minute stuff. Better than the bought stuff I use now.  Always left a bit of fat on tho, not a lot.

@Nightowlz, it's like people say about pigs, they use everything but the squeal . And the feathers probably made bedding, back in the day. Especially if that was all you had. Nothing went to waste.

For a pig they "eat everything but the oink" why not for chickens?  Many foreign countries eat them.

The first thing you do is boil and peel the feet.....instructions on Pinterest!

Never eaten them myself but I know people who boil them with rice!
