I almost bought it. Liked how neatly the orange wedges looked. But then I saw there was a magazine subscription included...forget it! Can't be bothered dealing with something I don't want.

I didn't see every presentation yesterday but, from the ones I saw, there was no mention of 'how easy it is to clean'. It seems that that is usually a big point they make with stuff like this.

Knives work very well for me, so I was not interested in the item. Smiley Happy

I did see in one presentation where the host pushed it down once, and she pushed it pretty hard, but it didn't push the food all the way through. Immediately, Curtis, reached over and slammed it again hard enough to make the food move on down.

I didn't watch it very long, but I thing the host showed some kind of a plastic pick device that you need to clean it. That is a red flag for me.

Why would that be a red flag? Any kind of chopper can get food stuck in places. I've gotten a little cleaning implement with most specialized manual chopping devices. Don't have to use it often, but glad I have it. I've used the little brush/pick on my egg slicer that didn't come with one, and should have!

I've been reading the reviews on this product. Wow, there's a lot of disappointed customers!

Biggest complaint is that it had poor packaging when it arrived. Customers say that the plastic bin arrived all cracked up. Some said they used it twice & the bin was cracked in lots of places.

Mine will FINALLY arrive today. Guess I'll find out if mine is broken. Hope not. I'll get to use it immediate as today will be nice enough for grilling, so I'll be chopping veggies for shish kabobs!

Mine came today and I am impressed with the packing and the action of the french fry making setup. After I make a few pounds of french fries I will let you know further..

I read the reviews on hsn this morning. Wow, mostly bad. You never know there, however, as I've seen reviews that were so ridiculous like - my kitchen caught fire, but I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!! - Um, ok. hehe

Mine came today, it was very well packed, nothing is broken/cracked. I haven't used it yet but one thing that was shown in the presentations wasn't true, you can't fit all of the attachments into the bin as was shown.

Mine arrived today too, and I unpacked both of them. Perfect condition. I wonder if it took this long to deliver because they redid the packaging after the multiple complaints of breaking?

I cored and sliced a large honeycrisp apple - easy peasy. Then I chopped up my tomatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms for our shish kabobs - done in a flash and perfect.

I'm 5'1.5" tall with standard height counters and had no problem operating this. In addition, I even did some chopping using my forearms instead of my hands and it worked perfectly. Arthritis flare days won't stop me now!

I'm glad you're happy with your purchase. I'm 5 feet tall.. barely… and I can't use an apple corer on my kitchen counter. I have to use it at the table or I can't get enough pressure on it. I was imagining that's what would happen with this chopper, but I suppose the blades on the chopper are sharper than my apple corer. Have fun with your new toy!
