I made my decision to buy knowing that I am going to request the $12 refund for Traveler.

Just reminds me of those demo's at State Fair.

...and don't forget they throw in that small paring knife for just listening to the demo....now watch your mailbox for one of those from the Q, they knew who watched {#emotions_dlg.scared}

I've watched the presentation a few times, and I'm tempted. It looks like over 50,000 have now been sold. Wow!

Please be careful with it, just tonight I was watching and the insert blade just flew out of the unit, they both laughed but to think about it, it's not so funny that something so sharp can just come out of the unit.

I know this is after the sale, but as we all know bargains return at some point. I watched the presentations and the first thing I thought was Ron Popeil and Vegamatic ! Everything old is new again.
Of course after watching a few times I thought about buying it as it did look much more compact than many on the market, but they ran out of red and I did not get to the computer! Smiley Happy So saved some $s until next time.

I would be interested if any one saw any of the hostesses using it? I did not. I wonder if it takes a lot of strength to use. Obviously Curtis Stone is in good shape and has the muscle & incentive to use it speedily. Also if anyone owns it have the blades stay sharp?

I did see one of the hostesses use it - can't remember which one as I watched portions of several demos. It seemed to be easy for her to use. I'm sure what one is chopping/slicing etc. makes a difference. Some veggies and fruits are simply easier to cut or chop than others.

I would really like to read reviews because one of the difficulties with these types of devices is cleaning. The Nicer Dicer has a retractable plate on the pusher side so bits of food can't get stuck in the crevices. The Chop Chop doesn't have that so I'm not sure how you clean out the pusher. I'm not sure it would come clean in the dishwasher.

I didn't see every presentation yesterday but, from the ones I saw, there was no mention of 'how easy it is to clean'. It seems that that is usually a big point they make with stuff like this.

Knives work very well for me, so I was not interested in the item. Smiley Happy

I did see in one presentation where the host pushed it down once, and she pushed it pretty hard, but it didn't push the food all the way through. Immediately, Curtis, reached over and slammed it again hard enough to make the food move on down.

What is that sound?!?! It's Curtis Stone's reputation circling the drain for selling a junk veg-o-matic!!!

I didn't watch it very long, but I thing the host showed some kind of a plastic pick device that you need to clean it. That is a red flag for me.
