White/Blue Interior Design Help Requested

I'm reaching out to @lolakimono as I know she has probably posted photos of inside homes featuring the coastal look or perhaps even a farm house that has featured antique or off-white cabinets (with perhaps streaks of light brown in them), and using the accent color of coastal blue, with a dab of darker blue in a couch pillow or tile up the back of the stovetop.

I'm looking for ideas to use to re-do my kitchen, utility room, breakfast nook, dining room, living room, and family room. The house plan is pretty open into all those rooms (or will be once I knock out one of the walls), and I want to create a better color flow to match and tie in all areas. Right now, each area has it's own look, with the only common denominator being hunter green for the carpet in all but the kitchen/utility area.

I want to rip out the carpets and go with hardwood floors. Right now the cabinets are oak (from the 90's!), so they have a tinge of gold in them. I want to either re-stain them or just paint them the off white/antique color, to lighten up the area.

I vaguely recall you posting some photos of accents of blue, and I thought I kept the name of the thread, but I can't find where I wrote that down.

If your memory is in top-notch form and you can remember the thread name, could you please advise? I'm am thinking of doing this starting next summer, as I am just about finished with a second bathroom remodel. The thought of starting another remodel right now does not bode well with me. But I believe by the summer of 2022, I will be rip-roarin' to go!

Thanks for any help you may be able to give me on this. I just want to create a nice, light, airy feel when one comes in the front door and can see all these room without moving an inch!

@World Traveler Did you know that you can go to potterybarn.com and in go to any page and in the lower right hand corner you can ask a designer for help. I have used it several times and it is free.

@Katcat1 Thank you. Yes, there are many places like that. But I want to see the photos that I remember seeing sometime back (perhaps months ago) that were posted by one of the forum's posters. It was exactly the feel I was looking for. Don't think I would change much from those pictures.

Hopefully, if the thread can be found, I can print out the photos this time and show my contractor and his design team.

It is not the one I remembered, but has a similar vibe, and I think I will print it out, just in case no one knows about the photo I was thinking of.

Wonder what the backsplash over the stove is like? I would like to see a very definite blue design in tile.

But this one is a definitely possibility because it has just enough of the blue to keep it interesting and not overwhelming
