Go to their facebook site and post the problems- and the managers 'solution'! The higher ups in the company will not want negative customer service on their public profile, I've resolved so many problems this way the last few years.

I would not buy Samsung appliances, my friend had a washer that had issues, her repairman would not even touch it.

We have an extended warranty on a Sears Kenmore fridge. The icemaker needed work and we had it serviced. This fridge, we have had for 10 years. We asked the service guy, who works on all brands, what brand we might consider with a future purchase. He paused, and told us, well I definitely wouldn't get a Samsung, those things break down all the time.

We have a GE Profile French door fridge that is now 7 years old. Last year a part went out on it that controlled the compressor, not expensive, had it replaced, and at that time I asked the repairman about new brands. Same response, forget about Samsung. He also said no to the new GE's, and recommended Kitchen Aid. Our GE is still working perfectly but it is good to hear what others are experiencing.
Good luck with your problem, let us know how it is resolved. Love how you recorded the sounds, something to keep in mind for the future for all sorts of issues!

Consumer Reports lists Samsung as one of the top appliance makers. They raved over a 4-door model that I've seen advertised before. I know it's top dollar but they said that the lower-priced models are almost as good. This sounds like a problem with the refrigerator (obviously) but the dealer isn't helping you, either.
I'd go to Famous Tate's FB page as previously mentioned then try Samsung's. Still no luck, contact Consumer Reports. They have a column dedicated to problems like this.
Good luck. I had problems about 15 yrs ago with a Kenmore refrigerator. To this day I refuse to even walk into a Sears store due to the underhanded way my repairs (yes, plural) were handled. They will never, never get another penny from me.
I hope your outcome is wonderful and you're not soured on Samsung!

Have you tried calling Samsung Customer Service directly? I have a Samsung Side by Side now for at least 3 Years and it works perfectly, and is as quiet as a mouse. I called Samsung to ask questions about the Ice Maker Functions and they were very helpful.
