Whoa...break out the sunscreen

I spent a couple of hours pruning and cleaning up the yard/preparing gardens...

It will only last for today though...then back in the 50's tomorrow for a 30-40 degree drop, but hey, no complaints here! I'll be sipping some lemonade on the porch after dinner with a good book for an hour or so before sunset...gonna soak up every drop of warmth

Ain't that the truth, it's 79 here and back to 50's tomorrow, so I am a happy camper today, been outdoors in shirt sleeves today cleaning out a couple flower beds. Got to take advantage of every nice day I get. (in Missouri)

Was in the 60's today here, warmest day since last October, but it was only for one day. Going back down starting tomorrow. Mother nature was just teasing us!

84 degrees in KC. It feels like the windy city, though, but we're fine with it. Soaking in the sunshine. Cooler tomorrow. I wore sandals to work today -- toenails polished and ready to go!

Hope states east of us enjoy the warm. Heard there's a heat wave in Cali!

Doesn't impress me. My daughter sends me text messages of pictures she's taken of her thermostat in her car.

She lives in Orlando, Fla, I'm in Va. I don't like hot temps. My favorite temperature is around 70 or so degrees.

Well, maybe not for Florida, Arizona or other southern states, however, for us here in Nebraska, to have a day to hit 90 degrees before St Patty's day, AND before the 1st day of Spring (not until the end of the week - 3/21), it certainly is impressive here. It SMASHED our previous temp record for today!

The trees budding, the birds tweeting, the clear blue sky, the sun shining,and 79 degrees, it is heaven on earth!! Nothing feels better than the sun warming up my body!!

While I'm not wishing for 90's, I am looking forward to seeing green grass and no more snow!! Would love to be in the 70's!! We'll take any kind of good weather, for sure!!

My pansies aren't loving the mid to high 80's we've been having in central FL. I've got a gorgeous spring flower garden that is getting confused by these high temps. Not seriously complaining, tho.
