Re: Has anyone else put their heat on?

I have never turned my heat off yet.  It's been set at 68 and if it gets cold enough it pops on.  If not, it doesn't.

Today I expect I'll have to switch over to the a/c as it's supposed to be warmer outside and I won't leave windows open while I'm not home and my dog is in the house.

Re: Has anyone else put their heat on?

I live in Anchorge and close to the water and that brings in lots of humidity and the damp weather always makes the air feel chillier.  Heat is set at 68* and even tho temps are up to mid 60's during the day, when it's cloudy it feels colder than temperature reads and the heat does come on.  Warms up fast and feels good

I posted the above just eight days ago, on the 18th.  I imagine we'll be turning on the AC tomorrow, as it is supposed to be 90Âş.

My heat is coming on today....the high today willbe mid 50's....and same for the holiday weekend.  Next week we may see mid 70's close to 80 possible. Sounds nice. I do not like hot weather so I never complain about cool temps.

Re: Has anyone else put their heat on?

Just said to my DH the other day, "we went from heat in the house, to 2-3 days of fresh air, and now the a/c kicks on".  Honestly, that was a short spring this year. I think that's why we like Fall so much. More days of fresh air, able to get out and not pay for it so harshly, and the coolness refreshes. I definitely am looking for the sun though this year.
