I would love the living room, minus half the furniture, minus the deer head, and add some color.  Love the floor to ceiling windows and the space though.

The setup in this room is way off for good conversation.  Couches not really facing anything.  Chairs facing....nothing.

I like to have seating for at least 6 where no one is craning their neck to talk to someone next to them.

To me it is a fabulous big, beautiful home.  I love the subdued colors and the mix of traditional and contemporary.  And the furniture looks comfortable and livable.

I would move a few things around, remove a  lot of the decor and pare down a little, but it is much to things I love.

The bookshelves are beautiful and I love all the books that fill it .  The artwork, chair and foot stool enhance the area although I would have a different print on the chair.  The spaciousness of the living room is impressive but I do not care for some of the furnishings.  Also I do not like any animal heads on walls, a big no for me.  The bedroom looks comfortable but I would add some color.  It  all has appeal but needs some changes.

It's a lot to take in.   Not really sure how the spiraled pillars and the same detail on the fireplace fit with the rest of the house.

Once again, I'm quite taken with the treatment of that beautiful tapestry.  It would have been nice to have hung it so it didn't puddle on the floor, possibly by doubling over the top.   The large round decorative object on the table is interesting, but I'd rather see more of the patten of the tapestry in that area.  Of course, if it's been hanging there for a while you might not be so interested in the pattern and rather see an interesting decorative item on the table.

Don't have any idea what the metal half-gates are on either side of that panel, either.  Perhaps there are two sets of gates to keep animals or children out of an area.  Might be interesting to know what they are for, as they appear more decorative than for security sake.

I don't even think I know enough people to fill all these chairs and sofas.  WAY too much furniture in this room.

I live a very different life apparently than the people who live in these homes. I just don't want clutter all around me and often times, they're just too cluttered......and formal.

The architectural details of the house are absolutely beautiful but the furniture and decor would be a total gut job for me.

The library is over stimulating while the bedroom is just a big bore. The living room has far too much furniture but all I can focus on is the animal head and that awful gold mirror.
