I just Googled the pic and came up with a more expanded view of the home... and by the way, it's located in Devon, England.

Yep, call the moving men.  I'm on my way.  And it is in Devon too!  Yum Devon cream.  I'll take it as it is, lock, stock and barrel.

I really like it. I'd like to make a few changes and do some fixing up, starting with the posts, but I think it's a charmer.

I agree entirely with all of @Tigriss's comments. I love the house and property for exactly what it is, with its timeless, serene charm. Love all that cooling shade and the river must sound so relaxing. I don’t get a sinister vibe, as much as a quiet retreat. That could feel lonely to many, and it could definitely use some sprucing up. It would be a shame to allow such a lovely old house to fall to ruin.

Thanks to @LIG1 for the expanded view and @GingerPeach for the added info! I would love to visit it some day ~ go have a cuppa' tea there with you ladies! 🤗

Great thread!!

@WaJa61 I do agree that many would find it to be lonely, but they are probably used to being in neighborhoods with people and all that. I'm used to a country living, so not having neighbors on all sides is blessed. Now we don't see how far it might be from town or anything, but their neighbor isn't on their back door step. I'll take a river or even a cemetery as a neighbor versus people. At least you know they won't be keeping you up day and night or blow leaves in your yard or any other typical battles.
