The best fitted sheets I've ever had were the older Northern Nights Wriinkle Defense sheets.  Still using them.  Hope they never wear out!

@Carolina925   Like you, I start at the top with the tag’s corner at the foot of the bed on the right.  However after reading all the msgs maybe it doesn't matter where the tag is placed!  While I never took a survey on the subject, I assume it is because the top of the mattress is usually against the wall or a headboard so it is more difficult to reach behind the mattress when putting on a fitted sheet.

@house_cat  Fitted sheets can be difficult but I can't imagine working with flat sheets...that would be so hard!

I also have twin xl beds. I use llbean sheets. They have deep pockets, a tag to id top and bottom. They get softer with wear, and last for years. They are expensive.

Back before fitted sheets, when I was a kid, all I remember is having to basically remake the bed every day to get it right.  What a pain.

For years it's all I use-flat sheets.

I had to compare my bed measurements to sheet measurements to make sure there was enough flat sheet to tuck in. I like it tucked in all around the bed.
