Last year around the holidays I came across a picture or two I'd seen in an old House Beautiful of a pretty house done up for Christmas so posted them. Shortly after, I happened across a more complete layout of the home, but since the season had passed I opted not to post further. Well, here we are again, so here goes... Opening pictures in their own windows will likely net better views of these pretty rooms...

@stevieb  Very pretty and well done. I love the room that the Christmas tree is in. The windows are gorgeous.

My favorite is the last picture. Rich woods. Really striking and stunning.

Thanks for holding on to these pictures from last year. Nice post.

So pretty....the inside rooms remind me so much of the homes on the Christmas Tour of Oceanfront Homes located very close to me.

We went on the tour every year since the 80's but due to Covid it has been cancelled the past 2 years. Boy do I miss it.

I think the the home is very pretty. I love the pictures with the Christmas tree. The dining room is my favorite room here. There are a few things I would change in there, but overall it's a nice room. I think the table and chairs add a nice contrast against the otherwise very light room. I would also like to see the wood floor exposed, as that would also off set that light color scheme.

@manny2  In the actual photographs the dining room is just lovely. The colors in these posted pictures aren't 'true', at least not based on my memory... The floral chintz host chairs are very pretty and the fabric a bit more vibrant than is reflected here. Meanwhile, the walls are just a hint more creamy-yellow (but not too yellow) than they appear here and the trim, dado and corner cabinet are, as I recall, just a bit more of a blue than the more grey tone they appear to be here... Of course, I'm the first one to admit that my recollections could be off too...

Most of the house is too traditional for me but I love the "Christmas Room" and all the blue decor.  I've frequently done color-themed Christmas decorating myself.  That tree has lots of personality.

Love the outside of the house.  The blue does not make it feel like Christmas inside. It's Christmas not the 4th of July.
