Any home I have decorated had a shade of blue in at least one room. In my present home, aqua is in my bedroom, aqua and navy in my living room and light blue in one bathroom.

 

       Years ago, when I had a silver Christmas tree, it had all blue

ornaments. Now I have a white flocked tree and alternate decorating with vintage aqua ornaments one year and vintage pink ornaments the next year. This year will be all pink.

 

     When my children were all at home we always had a fresh

Douglas fir with all color ornaments collected over the years.

Wow, as soon as I saw the first picture I knew this has to be Connecticut.  There are many, many beautiful, old colonials in this area that sit on a picturesque plot of land.  Do I live in one?  No, these homes are wayyyyy beyond what my budget can bear.  But I do feel lucky to live in such a charming area.  Lots of eye candy to ogle and dream of. 😂
