Hi all!  I am thinking about treating myself to LV Handbag (lower end of price scale). Do these bags ever go on sale?  Where is the best place to purchase?  Thanks so much!

I own 2 LVs and love them.  They never go on sale.  I bought both of mine at LV stores.  You can also order online.  Some Saks Fifth Avenue stores have LV boutiques.

They never ever go on sale @ChancesMom.

I love LV  adore everthing about the brand.

Its just way out of my price range , so I got a fabulous knock off on NYC streets.

But if you  are looking for the real thing, LV stores online would be your best bet.

@Jannyg. I have more than a few LV bags collected over 50 yrs. I love mine, as well. They wear like iron. I still use a lg. drawstring bag purchased 46 years ago as diaper bag/purse combo when son was born & daughter within 12 months. I purchase mine at the stores mentioned and Neiman’s. For that much $, online is not an option for me. I want to see the bag up close & personal.

A poster mentioned awhile ago that Dillard’s was selling LV bags. If you call LV CS, they are not a liscened dealer of LV. They try to keep a pretty close watch on the few approved stores who sell them.

Shaun's:  I agree.  If I'm spending that kind f $$$ on a purse, I want the total LV store experience.  But their website is a good alternative if you're not near a store.   I don't. Is about Dillard's but some retailers (Steinmart) are seeking used designer bags.  There's a fun website for those of us with a bag addiction. Bag, Borrow and Steal sells used designer bags.  You can also rent designer bags.  So far, I've avoided renting but have made a couple of purchases of items listed as pristine. But like everything, be careful. I've noticed some of their prices are pretty close to regular price and not a great deal

Hi Ladies, been wanting a LV for many years.  i have heard horror stories about their return policies. Has anyone had any issues with their return polices and the quality of the bags?  TIA

My local Lord&Taylor has quite a few vintage/pre-owned bags for sale.  They even have their own sales associate - so they must be selling.

Never a problem with the quality of the bag.  I was given a wallet a few years ago that wasn't quite right and exchanged it for another style (and paid a bit more) so there wasn't a problem with that.  Don't know about returns.

The real thing is Never on sale.

These bags are what I would call investment pieces, in that they last forever, look great with a little care, are always in style, and always classic.

I have 2, Love them, don’t need any more, but SO glad I purchased these.
