Has Angel ever indicated whether they have corrected this zipper problem? Be nice to know before I decide if I am keeping the pants.

What zipper problem and which crop pants? I only have one pair of crops and the zipper is fine.

It is the crop pants that have the zipper at the side of the leg.

There are enough compliants to make me wonder if I should return them. I love the pants but if zipper breaks, pants are useless.

Those rhinestone zips do not work!  I had ordered a really cute vest with one and I almost broke my fingers trying to get this thing to zip up. Wouldn't at all be surprised if it was a returned item for the same reason.  I was griped. 

Another reason why I did not buy her cute tsv vest & skort.

Oh, those plastic zippers that break or don't zip....I hope they fixed that problem.  I have two pairs of those crops from past years, and the zippers were a problem.  This is where having a full calf was a benefit.  The unzipped, zipper worked for legs.

I bought those crop pants last summer and have never had any problems with the zippers.  You do have to raise and lower the zipper slowly because of the rhinestones, but they have laundered well with no issues.
