That group of "grandmas" would blend in today because the fashions are similar to today's youth.  I sometimes drive by a local high school and I see a lot of girls that look like the girls in the picture.

The absence of a cell phone in each girl's hand.is the main clue the photo is not current. Those girls look great and would blend in with the girls today.

Oh yes! We went to high school in the 70s, this could easily be me and my 6sisters!

Almost all the high school girls at my granddaughters high school wear their hair just like this today!

I'm sorry but that picture would not be the Class of '65.  If you dressed like Cher it would have to be the latter '60s.  Those kind of clothes and hair didn't happen until women's lib.

At least 69-70 where I lived.  I was the first in my school to look like that.

Re: STILL WEARING THE SAME THING TODAY!

they're wearing Landlubber Jeans - ca. 1974?

We weren't allowed to wear jeans or pants to school until 1971, and then only because a bunch of girls decided to break the rules and come to class dressed in jeans.
