Re: SHOPAHOLICS ONE DAY AT A TIME -- Monday, February 22

Hi girls!

It's a nasty, rainy day out, and it's so dark and gloomy I waaaaay overslept.  Unfortunately, more of the same is forecast for the next couple of days. Cat Sad No plans to go anywhere - no need for anything, although if the rain lets up tomorrow I'll go to Publix for some cat treats - they're BOGO, so I stock up when I can since my kids love them, and the sale ends tomorrow.

LindaL, I'm so sorry to hear your husband is declining so quickly. I do hope he can continue at his club, as I know how important a respite is to a caretaker, even if it's just for a few hours.  I continue to pray for you.

The TSV is cute, but i have two leather jackets I've never worn and am selling...and the season for a spring jacket here is about two days long.

Bird, I love feeding squirrels; when I lived in NYC I sometimes would go to Central Park for lunch and take nuts or bread for the squirrels and pigeons.  They were brazen little creatures, with no fear once they realized I had food for them and would come right up to me.  As for the pigeons, they'd be all over me, perching on my arms, my head...lol!  How precious God's creatures are...  Cat Happy

My birds here have gone through another entire cake of hot pepper suet in a day; they'll now have to make do with "plain" flavors like cherry, sunflower, and berry until next month.  I still can't get over delicate little birds liking something like that.

Welcome, mackie...join us any time; I see you're new to the boards.

Twinny, I'm surprised your mom doesn't get salads at the place she's at, but at least you were able to take her out for one.  How often do you see her?

I used to love westerns when I was a little girl, but lost interest at some point. I did end up subscribing to Netflix, so I can get my fill of dramas and even cooking shows - I was happy to see they have "Chopped!"

It's not too cold out, thankfully, but I think I'm going to head over to my bedroom with my coloring book and Kindle; I'm also reading a cute cozy, which I'd like to finish today.  It's definitely a tomato soup and grilled cheese day.

BTW, for those of you who enjoy crafts, bookmark this site and check it out often; they have free ebooks on all kinds of crafts, including coloring books.  (You download the book, then print out the pages you want to color.)  They have novels and other things as well; just double-check to make sure a book is still free before you click to get it.  The selection changes every day:

Hi to everyone - have a blessed day!
