I also appreciate the whimsy of this line. I bought several pieces, but have given the away or donated them. (some unworn) They fit too large on me and I don't want to be "noticed" that much. Sometimes I watch part of a show, but this line is not for me and I'm a senior senior!

Designers come and go at QVC. The only ones who last are Denim & Co. and Susan Graver (both of whom I believe are more or less owned by QVC). The only other one that has lasted throughout the years is Quacker Factory...so someone must be buying it.

Very true.

I used to buy and wear QF when I taught younger children. They loved the tops I wore with animals or holiday themes on them. IMO you can't be sad and wear QF. I was only in my 20s and 30s then, so you don't have to be 80 to wear it.

When I started teaching older students I stopped wearing QF to work. Eventually I stopped wearing it completely. Sometimes I still see something that is cute and think about ordering, but I haven't done that in many years. One of these days this 50 something woman might buy a fun piece and wear it wherever I want. If others don't like it, so be it. At my age I don't worry about what others think of my clothes.

Sorry ladies this line is usually so OLD fashioned. This is for ladies in their 80's Too Gawdy. I love glitz but Would never by anything Quaker factory.

Really? You give us way too much credit if you think any of us care about what you would never buy. Don't flatter yourself.

Ladies in their 80's? Someday (if you're lucky enough) you'll reach your 80's. Talk to us again when that happens and let us know what your fashion choice dejour is at that time. Until then, really, we don't care.

Maria

Maria, you said it so well .............. I hope I around to wear my QF in my 80's, LOL! I'm in my 60's now and QF cheers me up!

I wonder if the OP is a fan of Logo, which is definitely not my style! Lori always looks like a homeless woman who has all her clothing on at one time, LOL! Talk about GAWDY!!!

As a 46 year old XXS woman I do tend to agree that sometimes the clothes can be made a little big and may tend to be designed for the older crowd. That being said....I have a choice on whether I want to buy a piece or not. I do have to say I have scaled back on ordering . I also think that perhaps the original post was done to start a conversation which is what is happening. The right of freedom of speech is what our ancestors fought to give all of us so if you don't agree with someone's opinion here or elsewhere there is a polite way to disagree. EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion.

The OP could spell "buy" too, correctly. It's NOT "by". Wink

I'm okay with you judging Quacker Factory clothing like this. I am absolutely judging you for your spelling and grammar, for which you fail.
