Susan Graver - et someone else talk, will ya?

OMG..... I have NEVER seen anything like it! I know they wear ear pieces, so will the producer tell her to shut up! She talks over EVERYONE and I honestly turn QVC off every time she is on. I guess no one ever taught her how to LISTEN when someone talks. I just got up and decided to relax with a cup of coffee and tune in. Relax, are you kidding me? How do you,relax when you are listening to someone who you'd think was on speed. She made my heart race and I could feel the anxiety coming upon me. For QVC's sake, will you tell her SHUT UP, listen and let someone else talk? Just tuned in to the Perricone item, and how relaxing to hear Dana's calming voice. I'll take this anytime over someone who yaps just to hear her own voice. Sorry for the rant but leaving this post is my therapy... Lol

{#emotions_dlg.scared}Susan Graver, Shut up? Out of the question.. I stopped watching a long time ago. I do not order her clothing and jewelry so I have no reason to watch.. Once was enough for me.{#emotions_dlg.ohmy} I guess from these types of threads she has not changed over the years but, she has gotten worse.

I know there are others that feel the same way as the OP, but I totally disagree. I love the fact that SG explains everything well and I love her enthusiasm. I don't believe she talks over the hosts too much at all. I think she has a great personality--usually much better than the hosts--and, therefore, I'd rather hear her talking anyway.

GoldenGate----I totally agree with you! I woke up early and watched Susan and Sandra while I folded the laundry. I love Susan's enthusiasm. If she ever gives into the naysayers and changes, I will probably stop watching. She is happy and upbeat! Why would I want to watch someone who wasn't? Her enthusiasm is contagious. She's no dummy. She knows exactly what she is doing{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} Shopping should be a FUN experience. You should be excited about it.

I disagree. Who cares about what the hosts have to say unless it about "Q business." Susan knows her stuff! Some of the hosts are so eager to talk, talk, talk, about nonsense and personal junk. How cares? Let them call a girlfriend to talk about their kids, etc. Susan is the brand representative. Who better to talk about the products but the brand representative, and in this case, the designer herself? She obviously is passionate about her job. Good for her!

QVC hosts- "et" someone else talk, will ya?

Susan annoys me, too, but try watching Joy Mangano present her gorgeous, magnificent, wonderful, indestructible (NOT!) huggable hangers on HSN -- after that experience, you will absolutely LOVE Susan!!{#emotions_dlg.w00t}

Anyone else catch it this morning when Susan told herself to shut up??!! She said when she got wound up like that she gave herself a headache. From then on she was a little calmer. Don't know if there was a bug in her ear or she just realized she was going over the line, but she knows what she's doing and knows it's irritating.

...and don't forget Diane Gilman who is also unbearable to listen to...I didn't catch that moment of "awareness" from Susan (as I already turned the show off), but that's "progress" if she had the insight to understand she's giving a lot of people a headache and wanting to tamp it down...even watching Adrienne on the other channel, a very enthusiastic proponent of her line, shows someone with a strong personality who nonethe less has a "rhythm" with the host that allows the viewer to enjoy the presentation without causing the "stress" that Susan's presentations cause SOME viewers to have!

I think she has gotten a little better since the phone call incident. I am all for her enthusiasm but it would be helpful for her to allow the host to give sizes, colors, and material information. I think enthusiastic is being used for what would otherwise be called rude.
