@SahmIamJust for the record: It was not Kristin who was on with Louis Dell'Olio. It was  Christine Zell. Just want to make sure you aren't dissing the wrong host. Perhaps you might go back and edit your previous post to reflect the correct name. Kristin did not appear on that show at all. Christine Zell was the rude, unprofessional host.

Wow, you've just added more of Christine's FB posts. Had not seen anything about her saying Louis "was rude to her" on this thread. How did she arrive at that conclusion? And who agreed with her? (Seems confusing. You mentioned Kristin's name twice.) Was Kristin on FB with Christine? Was this after she had gone into Louis to appologize with elephant tears?  If it was Kristin, she'll not comment again on FB! "What tangled webs they weave."

Someone needs to share those FB posts with QVC. That's the only way to provide Christine's supervisor(s) with proof of her childish and rude behaviors. I did hear her on early morning TV call another guest by the wrong name today. She quickly recovered and mentioned "yesterday was a bad day with tears" or something to that effect. I nearly died at the lack of professionalism AGAIN. She needs to keep her personal problems and life to herself. We don't want to hear any of it. Especially after the Linea mess.  (Hopefully, this is my final comment on this subject.) Smiley Happy

BirkiLady:  My post/comment was one of the ones deleted on her facebook page - I had mentioned that by taking a little time prior to the show & reading the product cards that she would be aware that a garment was knit not woven.  I did see the other comments also that were written by other customers and was taken aback this morning to see that they were deleted but new comments added implying Louis was rude to her during the show.

@BirkiLady  The Facebook account reads:

Kristine Zell QVC Host. The picture is of the blonde host and I read the posts myself. That is the spelling throughout the post on Facebook.  Currently she has a "Ask not what your country can do for you...." post up.

If there are two women with the same name but spelled differently who were on with Louis and displayed the same behavior...wow...Twilight Zone stuff.

Edited to add: It appears in my last post, I left off the "e" from Kristine's name turning it into Kristin (though all my other posts have it spelled correctly). If that is what you are referring to, I've fixed it. It also appears that many here have turned the "Kr" of her name into a "Ch" which is not correct; perhaps those posters should go back and change their mistake as well in order to avoid any confusion as to whom everyone is speaking about. That's how rumours get started, lol.

@SahmIamThanks so much for the information! That clears up so much about the two names. I don't watch QVC; just the videos of programs of particular interest. Wasn't familiar with the spelling of Kristine's correct spelling of her name and stand corrected. I was aware of Kristin's name, which was causing me so much confusion! (Have a feeling I'm the only one who noticed.) Nice of you to "set me straight" and I'll spell Kristine Zell  correctly in the future; although I hope not to have to comment about her again. Think that topic has run its course.

I saw her again on Quacker Factory show early morning.

She was a lot better; no mistakes that I recall.

Still a fast-talker, but I'm guessing that they have serious time restrictions.

Although, Angel was her same, non-rushed self.  Easy on the ears.  Very articulate.

I guess I took too many public speaking classes, which I disliked, btw.  But they did 'come in handy' in the long run.

Well, I'm wishing KZ well.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Isn’t Mary Beth Roe the mentor for all the new hosts? I could be mistaken but that was my impression.

@ROMARY.  I watched Kristine do 3 shows at some ungodly hour this morning and I agree, she was fine.  She even looked a lot better, didn't make any glaring goofs and did well with Angel and Lena.  I just wonder if perhaps she'd not had any sleep before the Linea show and that's why she was so off.  I know she has an infant, and I recall difficult times when I was in that situation years ago.  Lack of sleep can cause people to say and do strange things.

p.s.  'Just for the record',  I corrected/changed her initials from 'CZ' to 'KZ'.    (In my last post.)

Let's hope she improves ... however, there really is no excuse for not at least checking the pronunciation of the line before the show begins.   And trying to talk over the vendor to seem knowledgeable really isn't cool.

@SoXThumbs up.  There's absolutely no excuse for the repeated mispronunciation of "LINEA"  even if this was Ms. Zell's first day on the job.  One of the early lessons of working on live broadcasts be it news, sports, or shopping channel is to make sure you know the correct pronunciation of names, sponsors, and in this case the "brand."
