Plus, the timing was bad.  Some people didn't realize she was referring to the press, not the stranded immigrants.

@RinaRina, either way, it was inappropriate. Thank goodness for our press.

Amen @suzyQ3.

Totally classless move on her part.

Altho' I'm a Melania fan, I wish she hadn't worn it.  However, sometimes, the public is so mean, she might feel that's the only way she can  "send a message".

I'm currently in a situation where I'd like to wear one of those shirts ...

I like the one I saw today at the Senior Center:  "Breaking News!  I Don't Care!"

But, I just can't ... It's just not my style.

As someone else mentioned, I prefer "quiet" clothes.

@RinaRina, I just don't think that "Breaking News! I Don't Care!" is funny. In fact, I think it's obnoxious.

So you can see the reason that I took objection to the FL's message in any way it could be interpreted.

@RinaRina  I have SO much to say -- contrary to your statement -- about this, but it will most certainly be poofed by the Mods.

Me too!  It's hard to hold back.  :-/

Re: Fashion: Obnoxious T-shirts

I have a few t shirts that are related to things I care deeply about. They're not obnoxious to me, don't care if they are to anyone else. That other thing was obnoxious, I know that.

I have a Wonder Woman t shirt with just the WW logo. It has so much meaning to me because over the last three plus years I was a Wonder Woman.

A few years ago I had some of my sports and concert t shirts made into a t shirt quilt. I love it.
