The evolution of the cell phone, eh? I'd like to see that line up.
They started out big (ok, HUGE) and got smaller and smaller and smaller, until they were really very tiny. Now they are getting bigger and bigger. ![]()

I have the iphone 5s and I have an ipad mini. Love both of them.
I came to the iphone from the Samsung Galaxy S3, a phone which I also really enjoyed. When I upgraded, I debated between the iphone and the S4, finally choosing to go Apple because I had the mini, I liked the idea of photo sharing between them, and I liked some of the apps, such as passbook that were not available for android.
I am anxious to see the iphone 6 and 6 plus. As soon as they come into our local Apple store, I'll be down there stalking them
I really liked the size of the Galaxy and didn't find it unwieldy, at all. Going to a smaller screen was my biggest consideration, when I was upgrading.
Of course it's all a matter of personal preference. What you like, what you're comfortable with, etc. From my own experience, I've found both the iphone and the Galaxy to be excellent phones.
There's no reason for me to upgrade, anytime in the near future, and I don't expect to, but, LOL, I'll be down there looking!

Mine works fine and didn't qualify for a replacement, but a friend of mine did.I have an Iphone 5 and won't be upgrading to an Iphone 6 due to the really, really poor battery life of my 5. Best thing I've done lately is purchase a 10 ft charging cord for my Iphone. As far as the size, I will go bigger next time whatever I get. I use my phone for far more than making or receiving calls....it is really a mini computer. I have a laptop, Kindle reader and Kindle Fire and use all of them. However, my phone can do most any task or activity I need so a bigger screen will be helpful.

I also heard that the iPhone 6 has a longer battery life? Might be a good reason to upgrade ![]()

When I get a new phone, I will go with the medium sized one. I had a Galaxy II and loved the size but I really do prefer the functionality of my current iPhone5.

Speaking of BIG cell phones, I saw a woman talking on one the other day. It was huge & looked ridiculous held up to her ear. If people use these big phones they really would be smart to also use a Bluetooth. My arm got tired just seeing her holding it like that.

I really like the size of my iPhone 4. It does everything I want and then some. I think I will keep it is as long as it lasts. When it finally dies, I might go to a different brand. I don't want a phone as big as my Kindle.
