Congratulations!

Make sure you update the software with the latest patch, for security reasons. (Settings --> General --> Software Update. If you've already done it, it will tell you that your software is up to date.)

You should check out the QVC App in the App Store. It's free and pretty nice. I still use Safari to navigate to to MrRebates.com and then QVC to actually make a purchase, but I use the app to quickly check out products or videos and watch the live TSV launch while I'm watching something else on my TV.

I just got an new iPhone about 2 weeks ago and it already wants me to update to the new system.

I'm afraid if I update I'll have problems.

Update when prompted.

Definitely update when prompted. Sunshine Kate, it's just a small release, not a new system.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

FYI, you cannot get to the community boards using the Q app. Go to QVC using a browser. Acquaint yourself with iPad hints and tricks here on the electronic forum for lots of good info.

Kate, this was a major security patch and definitely should NOT be ignored. It fixes a code issue that allowed others to access your email or intercept data passing between your phone and a wi-fi network. Mine took less than 5 minutes and started right up as soon as it finished. I didn't need to reset the language or anything else like I did after some earlier patches.

I just upgraded from a 32GB original iPad with a very limited AT&T wireless data plan to a 64GB iPad Air with a 2GB Verizon plan and all I can say is "WOW". There is a world of difference between them in terms of speed, clarity of display and capability. I wasn't unhappy with my old iPad, but I ran out of storage a long time ago and the OS couldn't be updated making some of the apps difficult to use. I LOVE my new one.
