No email problems until about two months ago. I have one friend in another state. She receives my emails but I don't receive hers. We both use IPad. Her email provider is with her cable company : example of her type of email: janedoe@cable.net. I use yahoo email that ends with .com
No other issues with all my email contacts. I checked my contact list and nothing has been blocked. She said the problem is on my end and my responsibility to correct. 🤷♀️😳 Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

See the suggestions on Yahoo's help page.

Is your friend using "reply" when sending her emails? If not, maybe that could be the problem. My wife uses "gmail. com" and my email ends with ".net". Never have had a problem communicating via email because of the "dots, .com. or .net".

This is so weird and bizarre.
I don't have any solutions because I had the same thing happen with my neighbor and me a few days ago.
Except ours was with our phones. We both have iphones. She texted me as usual but when I texted her back, she did not receive them. Instead of the usual blue color between texts, it was green as if she had an android phone. She didn't receive my calls and when she called it rang for a second and hung up. My calls to her went straight to voice mail.
I can text to her husband and her on the same text, however.😳
I checked everything on my end and everyone else i can text and call to.
Suggestions were to turn phone off. To make sure it is on wifi (she said hers always is but sometimes it can accidently be turned off!)And to make sure not on airplane mode.
I know this doesn't help with your emails but isn't this all so strange?
I think it is something on her phone and I wouldn't be so sure the problem isn't on her end.🤷♀️
I hope somone has some bright ideas! I've never heard of this kind of problems before mine or yours!
Good luck to us!

Thank you for your help. I checked everything from this help page. I checked her email and not blocked and correct. I checked my spam folder and nothing. The last email that I received from her was in April and my last email to her was in June. Whatever- she is doing something wrong or problem on her end. But she is someone that knows everything...... oh well . We grew up in the same neighborhood and more like sisters but it is what it is..... Thanks again.

Once again: Thank you. The last email from friend was in April and she sent it without using the "reply " option. However if I send the email: she will use the "reply" and will end up with several pages. I have tried everyone's suggestions. She has to be doing something wrong or some issue on her end. She will not do anything to help unless she has another problem in her local community of friends.😳🤷♀️🤷♀️. Thanks again.

Wow: Are we trapped in "The Twilight Zone " ?😳😳😳😳🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

I said the same thing! The Twilight Zone!
But guess what? I just went over to my neighbors and figured it out after trying and thinking of everything. They insisted they had checked everything and that I somehow had blocked her-no, because I could receive her texts and she also didn't have her phone turned on when I called. And I checked to see if she was blocked on my end-no she wasn't.
Somehow she had accidently blocked my number and that is why she couldn't get my calls! I showed her how to unblock and block also.
Anyway, (I wish I could just call you!).
I have an idea for your emails.
Could she somehow have your emails going to spam accidently? Ask her to check her spam folder email just to make sure. She probably never looks at spam.
The same with text messages-sometimes I see I got a message and can't find it and then check unknown callers and it is there.
Sometimes I get an email that says potential spam but it is just a first time email from a business that isn't spam at all.
Well, not much else you can do especially since she insists it is not her problem (but I bet it is!).
Or welcome to the Twilight Zone!🥺

Might want to check the junk folder.
One place I order from will confirm the order and then go silent about the shipping. Find it days later in the junk for some unknown reason.

Yes that's what I meant, the junk folder![]()
