@mktdaisy Sometimes I feel the same way and I get it regarding the QVC/HSN patrol.
Some people really seem to take it personally when someone has a grudge about the service on here that has surely been lacking the last few years. My shopping has decreased in volume big time on both networks, though HSN I have gone to more often for awhile now. I haven't had as bad a time over there as on here. I will admit I haven't had some of the issues of others but I am shying away to avoid the tragedies I've read about. Whatever you decide, do what works best for you. I leave my accounts open for that just in case item but may close them eventually.

No, this behavior by QVC/HSN shows they are unable to compete in the marketplace.
What I don't get is all the QVC cheerleaders/frustrated bloggers piling on me. They want to stifle any criticism. Stepford Wives anyone?
Don't let them do it @mktdaisy They are bullies behind the keyboard. QVC does not need anyone to defend them. Your experience with them is valid, and you can bet they are paying attention. Email the QVC social team. They are really wonderful. I have done so a few times, and they have responded.

When I get an e mail from QVC about a return it says amount....0 dollars. When my bill comes through the return is for the correct amount.

When I first read your post I did feel a little bad for you but I have had no serious problems. I read another poster stating you have had issues before and used this forum to complain. I found your previous posts. I really don't understand 1) why are you still purchasing from QVC and 2) why do you voice your complaints here as it doesn't get sent to the powers that be.

My order was supposed to arrive on 5/27. That was 11 days ago. I tried to figure out how to cancel the order or at least find some kind of tracking but it was impossible. I finally got a Chat session with a rep who said even though the order is classified as "Processing" I cannot cancel it because it is in the "Final Stages of Processing". That must be QVC-speak for we can't figure out how we are going to fulfill all these orders but we still want to get paid. ha ha. I am an ex-QVC customer now. That was the last straw.
I finally decided I am not going to pay the outrageous shipping costs to return QVC items.
$6.95 + 3.50 = $10.45. That is ridiculous and I am going back to Amazon for everything.
I'll make sure everyone I know understands how much this theft costs them in the long run. QVC sells too many products from China and too many items that have been returned by other customers.
For your own personal sanity you should probably stick with Amazon.

I think you would get real satisfaction and your problem resolved if you went directly to customer service or the social team. That's what I do whenever I have an issue. You're not going to have anything resolved coming to a message board.

I rarely (only twice ) in the past 10 years have I ever had to return anything and those were to exchange for a different size and no problems whatsoever. I order a lot here and HSN. I tend to think that those biggest complainers are those who often compulsive buy with the expectation of returning or exchanging (if not something they really wanted/needed anyway) so maybe the fault lies on their shoulders for their ordering habaits. If I had so many issues with any company I would shop elsewhere! Nobody's business but mine so no need to make a big issue over anything. Contact the company directly to bring a negative issue to their attention!
Not a post defending defending QVC - just pointing out a possible negative conpulsive overordering problem with OP!!!

It appears that all of your posts are complaints about QVC. Why torture yourself? It's not necessary to announce your departure. Just stop shopping here and shop on Amazon since you prefer the service they provide. Easy peasy.

Call and speak with someone. Also, make sure you have all your information before you call....the price of the item, the shipping and tax amounts, whether or not it was EZ pay and the amount for EACH EZ pay, and how much you were charged. And the tracking info. And if you are paying for return shipping (exchange or return).
If I return something, I wait 7 days after it was delivered to QVC and call looking for the credit. They process the credit and within a couple of day, I see it as pending online on my bank. Weeks later I receive an email telling me that my credit is $0, but that is because the credit has already hit my credit card.
I think it comes down to knowing all the facts and being aware of all the charges and what your credit will actually be. Could be the amount you paid for the item (first month of EZ pay) minus the shipping @ $3.50, minus the return shipping at $6.95 for example. The amounts will be less then you are expecting due to the EZ pay and shipping fees.

Yes, she can get something resolved @haddon9 She can vent. That is what this board is here for. She doesn't need advice on where else to shop. She doesn't need posters looking back at prior posts. She just needs to vent.
