We still order our same favorite subs, the BMT.

I rarely eat at Subway, if I do, it's always tuna on wholewheat, with black olives, tomato and red onions.

Re: how Subway is doing with their new menu

I used to love Subway, though my friends would make a face whenever I brought one of their subs to lunch.  But I haven't been to one in years.  The nearest franchise closed, the next-nearest one isn't close, and I've since read a lot of bad press about the chain..

Re: how Subway is doing with their new menu

You Tube had some man at a mike talking to people and telling them the Sub sand. is meant to be split between 2 people and not 1 only to eat a 12".    If they pay for it, who cares if one or two eat it?!!!  I couldn't believe that.  You ever see a sports person chow down on one of those?  They burn so many calories, I' sure they could easily snuff out a bunch of calories.  The sub snd's aren't the worst things they could eat either.

Re: how Subway is doing with their new menu

I had a sub there years ago. Didnt like it then, so I never went back. If I want a sub, I get one from a local deli or make my own.

Re: how Subway is doing with their new menu

I like Subway; however, if they have declined in sales, it's probably because of the lettuce.  The lettuce has way too much brown in it, as in disgusting.  It's been this way for many years.

Other sandwich shops don't seem to have a problem with lettuce.  I no longer eat there because of the lettuce problem.

When Subway was new (back in the day) I went there, food was handled w/bare hands. I actually told the preparer that I had changed my mind. Have not been back.

Re: how Subway is doing with their new menu

They have a new menu? I stop at a Subway about once a month and haven't noticed any changes. Ours no longer accepts coupons, even tho there are usually coupons in the newspaper on Sundays.
